light brown - slight depigmentation patches

I am hypothyroid patient for last 4 years. Last month suddenly few light brown (2 shades lighter than my skin colour) have appeared on my skin .pl help

  • A friend of mine also has a thyroid disorder and she suffers from loss of skin pigmentation, called vitiligo. These two disorders seem to go hand in hand as they are both caused by defects in the auto-immune system. There is no cure for this, and it can get worse over time. There are treatments using UV rays, etc, however, they are time consuming, expensive, can be painful, and sometimes just don't work. You should make sure you use extra sunblock on these areas, as they are more easily sunburned. They do have some make-up that can be used on this now, but I don't know where you could buy it. It is supposed to cover pretty well.
