I am 21 and i have been having unprotected sex with 1 guy. I started having yellowish discharge, and it looks kinda green-brown on my pantiliner. Its not thick but it does have a foul odor to it. I have had sex with him about 12 times and the last 2 or 3 times, there was blood. I didn't have any blood before of after sex. Its nothing heavy, we didn't notice it until we go to clean ourself, so it happen during intercourse. I wonder if its from me or him. I have no body or pelvic pain. Nor pain during sex. I'm worried he might have passed me an STD. It may not be that, but I'm just worried because this it new to me. I never had this before. PLEASE HELP- WHATS WRONG?

  • It sounds like a STD, make sure you go to a doctor asap to find out for sure. PLEASE do not be embarrassed, you will only need to take some pills to clear it up. But you need to make sure you get your boyfriend to see a doctor too, or else he can keep giving it back to you. STD's can lead to bigger problems, if left untreated, including cervical cancer and infertilty. So please get this looked after as soon as possible.

  • Yes, you both need to go to your local county free STD clinic and both should take antibiotics. I don't know if they will do a pap, but you should get a pap and see if he gave you HPV, too. Use protection until you are married or you will end up with a virus.

I did go to a free mobile clinic that same day that was just down the road from my job. They got blood to check for HIV, urine to check for the other STDs and a RN was there and she wasn't able to preform a full pap., but she did check everything out and said the only thing she notice was the discharge. She said it was nothing dramatic. She gave me a medicine called Metronidazole and I have to take it for a week. The results for the other stuff will take two weeks to come back. What really worries me is the bleeding after sex. Thank you.
