I would appreciate greatly all qualified input. I think I may be in a life threatening situation. Despite numerous visits to doctors and ERs and scans and blood tests, I still do not have a diagnosis.
For the past two months I had intermittent left leg pain and shortness of breath. DVT and PE were ruled out with few US and CT scans, with and without contrast.
I had an abdominal CT scan with and without contrast which was normal. All CBC tests are normal. I also had a lower extremities MRV. A 50% compression of the iliac common vein was found, but not ascribed as cause for my symptoms. Echocardiogram was normal.
In the meantime my symptoms aggravated. Now I have severe shortness of breath, permanent left leg pain and 15 minutes after I change my position from horizontal to vertical I get very dizzy, a stiff neck, abdominal minor pain and lightheaded and unbalanced as if I would faint.
Now I am looking to get second opinions or second visits from cardiologist, vascular surgeon, neurologist and enterologist, and trying to figure what other tests are appropriate but the question is whether I am on the brink of a life threatening emergency - certainly I feel so.
Any medical sugesstions, leads, greatly appreciated.
