This is very odd. I have been aware of my RLS for many years and have had luck in treating it will Valerian Root. Just 2 pills about an hour before i head to bed did the trick. But i did notice my legs would also jump during the day, all times of the day, during work or just sitting. slow at first, one or 2 jumps at a time, 3-4 times in the day. more at night of thought. Now, its gotten much worse. I can describe it as the felling of being a hinge or mousetrap that is being held open. It takes all my strength to keep my body from snapping closed like a spring loaded trap. I can tell that it is coming from my hips or pelvis, not from my legs alone. If i stand or sit or lie down. It still takes a lot of effort to not clamp shut - I can also put it this way: if i don't do anything to try to control the spasm, i feel my knees would snap right up to my ears. essentially like letting the mousetrap snap closed. This is making it impossible to do anything, work or leave the house. The pain is not extreme, just the embarrassment of having this happen every 10-20 secs keeps me from leaving the house. Any help on this is appreciated. I live on a small island cant just hop on a boat or plane without more information about what i have.

Maybe i don't have RLS?
The center of the jumping seems to be coming from my hip or pelvis area, wanting to force my legs up to my body. That is not a symptom i see for RLS. Help? Thx
