I hit my right leg 2 weeks ago at half the tibia spot. I was shocked how quickly a big hematoma formed at the hit spot. There was no pain and I could walk just fine so I excluded the probability of a fracture. I'm a professional Dancer, for the next two weeks I did practice 2-3hours a day with my partner without any problem.
One morning I wake up in pain, I couldn't even put down the leg, just the blood flow of moving the leg from an horizontal position to a vertical position causes me lacerating pain at the tibia level.
I managed to drink an analgesic painkiller called 'Aulin' and the lacerating pain calmed down. Then I went to the closest E.R. in my city and they stuck a needle where I hit my leg and gave me two sticks to maul, then they pressed on the leg to make the blood flow out. After 10minutes of pain they said I can go home, and to come back change the aid band in 2 days.
After 2 days I went to my family medic, he said I have an infection caused by the blood of the hematoma that has not been absorbed by my leg after the contusion. So he gave me these Amoxicillin antibiotics I'm taking but after 4days nothing is happening.
It got worse, from a 3centimeters dot on the middle of my tibia bone, now it spread from there up almost at my knee and down to my ankle, now the left side of my ankle is totally swollen.
When I put pressure on the hurting parts of my leg I notice that my finger marks holes in my flesh that after a few seconds revert back to normal.
I really don't know what to do, my doctor says to keep on with the antibiotics and be patient, but in 4 days it only got worse, I'm afraid the infection will spread even further and risk something traumatic like an amputation.
