My husbands lower legs have been swelling. Its mostly aroung his shin area. He was diagnosed with post trama syndrome a few years ago and it went away when he quit hitting them. Its back and now it goes down to his ankles swelling. He also has pain in them during the night. They have a redness that appears to hit right where his boots are but, even on weekends they still swelling down his legs to his ankles. This flares up about every 6 months or so and the Dr. gives him antibotics. Wld infection just keep building up ever so often???He does have a plate in one of his legs but, that has been there over 20 yrs. We are going to go to an Ortho Dr. and see if he has any other ideas..He also had a venus dopplar run a few years ago and his veins were fine. Hes only 46 and besides high blood pressure in pretty good shape??Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
