A number of years ago I sprained my left leg after jumping off a ledge at work. There also has been a number of ankle foot twists on the left foot also. I never experienced much pain from the injury for several years. About a year ago I fell when an attic ceiling ladder broke loose from its supports. Since then I experience soreness burning and tingling pain when exercising in the gym on the stair climbing machines. And not as much pain but some on the jogging machines.
I experience burning sensations whenever I bend my left knee.
There is also clicking and rattling sensations in the left knee and ankle.
Also there is unusual slight swelling on the lower left front shin. The swelling only takes place when I stand on it. But as a soon as I sit down the swelling disappears. But the condition will not go away.
The doctor called the swelling fluid. But he was not sure what the heck the condition is. Another opinion doctor was not sure either. But he was more specific. He said it could be a malunion, or ligaments or nerve damage. It could be a combination of conditions.
One doctor denied the maluion theory with an x-ray.
I had the swelling condition in the chin before the second fall.
I can go on and on with doctors and symptoms. I broke my right toe a few months ago. Before the toe healed I had to shift weight back on to the left leg. And now I experience heal pain on the back in side of the left foot. It hurts when I apply pressure to the heal. Plantar fasittis streches sometimes help the heal. And other physical exercises have helped some of the leg pain. But when I stop them the pain has been getting worse.
Also I seem to have poor balance and cordination on the left leg. Although sometimes leg exercises once every two days helped.
