This started about 1.5 years ago with a contrast injection gone bad (iodine type, for a cat scan). I had a lot of health problems come out of this injection and one of them was a deep pain apparently in the calf muscle, about halfway down the calf, on the right side. This always pops up in the same place, and can be extremely painful and throbbing.
At first, after the injection, it was with me quite a lot; now it shows up periodically, but I noticed a half-glass of wine can trigger it and it will last for a day or more. I haven't been able to make other associations since it seems so random. (I am a very light drinker). I have never been able to come up with a theory about what this problem might be; any suggestions appreciated.
