I am 22 years old and have been having left plank pain for years, since I was about 15. I have had several test run and everytime I get my hopes up that they will find out what is going on with my body. I am an active athlete, I play sports in college and absent from pop and alcohol and I stay hydrated. The pain use to come and go when ever it wanted, but now its been light to the point where I always have it and I know that it is there, but I ignore it. Only when I have a flare so bad that I cannot sleep or lay and the pain is excruciating. I've tried going to the ER when this happens and they cant do anything for me and insist that it must be lower lumbar pain, but I know my body and its where my kidney is. Im so tired of dealing with this I just want it to be taken out. Ive started going to a new doctor and I have hope of finding a diagnosis and something to make it stop but I have dont plan on anything. =(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
