I'll give you a bit of back ground.
I used to work as a kitchen porter (washing up dish's) and had to climb 3 flights of stairs. My knee started hurting but wasn't to bad, I went to the doctors and they blamed it on my weight and gave me ibuprofen (sorry for the spelling)
The pain didn't stop and I went back again, doctors just said to keep trying to loose weight.
The pain dulled down after a while and has been on and off for a couple of years, just a day a month or so.
Lately I've started jogging which started the pain again so after 2 go's I rested for a bit that didn't help and then went swimming instead. Now the pain in my knee has been constant for 3/4 weeks at least every day and night, I can't bend down without horrible pain.
The pain doesn't go away at night, if anything it actually gets worse. It hurts more the less active I am.
The pain is waking me up and through the day dulls down and comes back up... its not really related to any actions I do with my leg. I can stretch it out and twist it around and all is fine but in a hour, it'll hurt doing everything. There isn't any inflamation though, never has been.
I'm completely baffled!
I havn't had chance to go to the doctors yet but as always, I know they will just blame it on my weight even though I've gained and lost weight over the years and the pain hasn't changed
Any replies would be brilliant! Thank you
