Hi ,6 months back i noticed that after getting up from chair i felt light pain on my left knee. Then i visited orthopedic doctor who told me to do X-ray and MRI .At MRI following was observed:1.small marginal osteophytes seen in the femoral condyle and tibial epiphysis.2.grade II degenerative tear seen in the postero-medial horn of the medial meniscus.3.minimal effusion seen in the suprapatellar bursa and medial aspect of the knee.4.other qudriceps tendons, patella tendon,ACL and PCL are well delinetaed and appear to be intact.patella shows normal realtionship to the distal femur.
after 30 to 40 Minutes of morning walk i feel little pain and still feel uneasy after getting up from chair. After few minutes feel ok and walk normal. My thigh is bit swollen but there is no pain.currently iam taking Flex-a- min triple strength medicine.my doctor had advised me to do arthoscopy as meniscus is torn and this may lock my knee.but till now i donot have knee locking problem.
So can any body suggest me to take correct line of action for my problem.can my left leg be able to press car barke or will ahve load bearing capacity.
thanks and regrads
