hi,i injured my kneeplaying footbal in may this year and went straight 2 A+E the nx morning as i cudnt walk on it.to cut a long story short as this has been going on for the last 6 months i was refered 2 a consultant.i ended up seeing 2 different consultants b4 i cud even get an mri scan on my leg, both times having 2 explain how i did it.after the 2nd one i got an mri date.3 months down the line i had my scan, went bk 2 weeks later for results and they didnt know if i had a tear in my cartlidge or not.i had little mobility and cud not bend my knee all the way without it cramping and hurting alot and also experienced stabbing pains without warning and knee was giving way.so i was then put on a waiting list for a knee arthroscopy.i eventually got a pre op date.wen i had this i had 2 wait yet another 6 weeks!! so in for the op i went on 4th oct.came out and was told they cud not find any major damage and that i shud b able 2 bend my knee now???? 2 weeks later i still hav swelling stabbing pains in the medial side and yet i still cannot bend my knee all the way without excrutiating pain and cramping.amazing they told me i cud actually go bk 2 playing football now!!! my physio felt a small lump at the back of my knee which was odd.can anyone please help with this and possibly giv me some information in wat 2 do next? i cannot go on with these pains and not beeing able 2 kneel down and bend all the way!! please please
