maybe here is somebody who had the same problem and could give us advice. Because our doctors seem rather helpless:(
We are a Russian couple, two weeks ago we returned to Moscow from a one month long journey to Mexico (Chiapas, Quitana Roo). During the journey my husband once had fever, diarrhea and vomiting, but it lasted for one night only, so we thought it was caused by some food. After that he felt fine till last week. First he got fever and headache. After couple of days and nights with fever, chills and sweating he went to the doctor and teh doctor sent him to the hospital for infectious diseases. At the hospital he has the same symptoms, during the daytime he feels better, at night he has fever and chills. A new symptom is dry couph. He doesn`t have any pains, he doesn`t have dizzyness. The doctors here in Russia are not very often confronted with tropical diseases, so they have problems with diagnosys. We are really worried! If somebody has any ideas - please, don`t hesitate to write!
