Kidney Infection w/o Bacteria?

I had a UTI for 2 months that finally went away. Then I started getting back pain. I went back on the antibiotics thinking it may be a kidney infection. The UTI symptoms came back mildly.

Sonography and urine tests show everything normal. My urine was somewhat diluted (very pale yellow color) and I had been taking antibiotics until 3 days prior to the test. Could this be a false negative test. Also, the back pain is not right where the kidneys are it is below them (although when I push on the kidneys they feel somewhat soar). My doc thinks it is stress and prescribed me codeine.
