I woke up around 5:00a.m one morning with a sharp stabbing pain in my side and by noon I couldn't stand up straight. After numerous tests, the doctors announced that I had suffered from a kidney infarction.
Ever since the first incident (which was 10 months ago) I have had pain in my lower right abdomen just above the pelvis. I will occasionally get pain in my back closer to the kidney where the infarction occurred but it’s always in the lower abdomen. The multitude of doctors can not explain why the pain exists.
The only explanation that I have received is that the nerves in that area of the body are "dumb" and not always accurate in their locations.
Has anybody else out there had a kidney infarction? If so, have anybody else experienced ongoing, near daily, pain? Any information would be greatly appreciated
