Our daughter has suffered with ketones in her urine for the past two years. They are almost always present in a +++ status. Generally either glucose or protein are also present with the ketones. So far she has lost a fair bit of wait and is pale. A blood test today showed low iron levels. We are continually told not to be concerned about the ketones? however we are getting quite concerned over it as we have no idea what the cause of them are or the cause of the protein / glucose. Any ideas would be lovely as at this stage we are unsure what to do next. She is complaining of headaches and also stomach aches almost everyday. She has tested negative to cealiac disease and we have done a complete dairy free diet with no change. Please help by offering your ideas.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
