I am seeking some information about the constant presence of Ketones in urine. Our daughter has them in quite high amounts in most of her wees. She randomley has protein and also glucose, we are trying to get some sort of advice about what they can be as she drinks plenty of fluids so is not dehydrated etc. Any suggestions will help us alot. Thanks

  • Your daughter needs to be checked properly as soon as possible. Ketones and glucose in her urine suggest possible diabetes. Protein in her urine suggests a possible kidney problem that could be diabetes related. If the fluids she is drinking contain lots of sugar (like many do), she could be making the situation even worse by drinking lots of these.
