I have had a few different symptoms for over 7 months and have had a few referrals. I wonder if anyone could suggest an alternative diagnosis - or any diagnosis at all!
My symptoms are:
1. pain behind my right knee - on the inside edge, a pinching pain and very tender to touch, enlarged veins here and a cold feeling/sensation behind the knee. It goes on rest and is worst when walking or standing. This flares up occasionally and feels much worse.
2. radial head pain which is an ache. This is made worse by rotating the forearm but also while keeping the arm straight and simply raising my thumb. This also flares up or is more bearable.
3. Recently I have developed a very cold sensation actually in my left quad muscle that comes on at rest. The left hip can also be painful.
The Drs/PT have gone through various ideas including rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis and polymyalgia but they don't really know! I'm more concerned about the cold feeling behind my right knee and in my left quad. Could this be neurological? I have also heard that coldness on the left-side of the body can be heart related.
I am 29, male and healthy but have done little exercise since my symptoms have started as they have prevented it.
Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.
