My daughter is a 14 yo afro-american girl that has been diagnosed with von Willebrand's disease. My daughter had been having extreme joint pain only during her menstral period. The swelling and pain is so severe that she has to be assisted with crutches throughout her menses. She has been to pediatric hemotologists, pediatric rheumotogists, and ob/gyn. Noone can currently diagnose her. The von Willebrand's disease is being treated with Humate - P and the severe joint pain is being treated with alot of different things. Can someone please help me?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
