For the past 2 years I've started to develop joint pain in addition to pain in my lower back.
My lower back hurts when I stand for two long or walk, but that's been there for as long as I can remember.
The joint pain started about two years ago, around the time I got my first job that required frequent standing and walking.
It's gotten much worse, and I'm at the point where this week I've only left bed to go to my classes which are only 3 times a week.
Mostly it's my hips (and my back) and shoulders but just about all of my joints hurt. My hips sort of "pop" out of the socket and back in each step I take.
I have Hashimoto's disease (hypothyroid) and am on 375 mg of Synthroid (currently stable but I keep needing to up the dosage).
I took 2 weeks of anti-inflammatory pills, then a week of steroids, then another month of anti-inflammatories and nothing's helped. (This is when my doctor suspected tendinitis)
Today I got the results of the blood test saying that it's not arthritis, lupus, or another auto-immune disease.
ANY suggestions are welcome, and thank you so much for reading this long message!
P.S.- If it matters, I'm a 20 year old female.
