i haven't gone to the doctor yet because of this, because it doesn't feel like its that big of a deal, but you guys let me know what you think

sometimes when i yawn, the feels like its getting crammed downward about a half an inch to 3/4th of an inch, and on the 1-10 pain scale, its about a 5 until i push it back up with my thumb

when i push it up, it doesn't feel like bone, just really dense. i don't know what it could be, i've never had any history of jaw problems . any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
