I had a procedure done yesterday morning and tonight I noticed how swollen my iv site area is. It is so swollen that I can't see my ring and pinky finger knuckles. Also, that bone that is like a bump on my wrist is completely covered too. This is all because it is swollen. I am putting ice on it but should I go see a Dr. or what?

  • Ice works and get some arnica gel to rub on it at a health food store. You can also take the homeopathic pellets, too.

  • If the area is red and inflamed you need to see a doctor yes. In any case you should call the ER/hosipital where you had the procedure done and ask to talk to a nurse about it. Kiera
