I have been having what looks like mosquito bites on my legs- calfs, thighs. and recently, a few on my lower arms. it can be as many as 20 that appear on my legs. After which, the little lumpy areas that are close together will joint together and form a huge lump. They still resemble bites but i am sure it is not. Of course, they cause so much itch that I have problem getting a good sleep.

This skin problem has been with me for abt a month.
comes usually in the night or appear in the morning. they tend to subside after a few hours, not leaving any trace.

Family doctor told me to put calamine but it doesnt help!

It is the raining season right now so I'm not sure if it has to do with the weather as well.

Pls advice!!!

Thank you

  • Have you taken an antibiotic or medicine recently?Do the bumps burn as well when you scratch them? You might have candida albicans (yeast). Usually they will look like little red bumps and they will itch intensely. You should go to a dermatologist, although don't be surprised if you don't get a diagnosis and later find out you have candida. A lot of doctors are not up to speed when it comes to candida.Good luck
