okay for 2 months straight my lower back-left hip and both legs have hurt tremendously. I have had a cbc, cmp, sed rate, tsh, and ANA tests done all were normal. I feel like I am losing my mind. I'm so tired of being in pain. I'm only 21!! I need some ideas of what this could be. It never stops hurting just sometimes it hurts a little less. I'm to the point where I just can't take much more. So if you have ANY ideas please feel free to share. Thanx.

  • Hi,Seems like your doctors are looking for something organic. And maybe it is just because your description is very short, but has anyone done an MRI or any other kind of scan on your lumbar spine and hip? What you describe sounds to me like it could be a disc problem, like sciatica. It isn't common to young people, but you could have gotten it from doing something that didn't hurt at the time, or you could just have had a congenital weakness that finally went on you.Has anyone even x-rayed the lumbar and hip?Best,Shula

  • Is it a sport's injury? Are you athletic? Sounds like muscle or bone pain to me.

  • I'm Not Athletic At All! And No One Has Done An Nri Or X-rays Of Any Kind. And Now It's Not Just My Back And Hip.it's My Left Knee, calf, And Heel Of My Foot. All The Pain Is On The Left Side. Except My Lower Back Hurts All Across It. Also I Have Been Getting Bruises And I Don't Know Where They're Coming From.

  • My brother has been in the hospital for seven days now with excruciating pain similar to what you describe. The doctors have done a cat scan, a bone scan, a MRI, blood work, urinalysis and still nothing. The pain was in his hips and groin and now its mainly in the hips. The pain is so severe that he cannot get out of bed now. With all the technology you'd think they could figure this out. Anybody got any ideas?
