Ok so it all started off 2 years ago with a really bad case of vertigo which lasted for about 1 week. I went to a million different doctors even drove to another state for an appointment. Basically the doctors can see that I have raised optic nerves in both my eyes. I was (2 years ago) getting lines in my vision consistantly for about 3 months and then it went away. During that time I was dizzy continueously, ,y eyes felt like they were going to pop out of my head and I had some confusion going on. They did an MRI and a Spinal tap and came up with nothing. I got really sick of going to doctors and it pretty much went away so I stopped going to doctors. Well it's now 2 years later and it came back, lucky for me. This time it started with 4 migranes in a row and now the lines have been in my vision for about 2 months so far. I have been more clumsy then normal, my eyes feel like they are going to pop out of my head again, I can't really see anything because of the lines in my vision and yesterday I somewhat passed out, meaning I was standing in the kitchen and my friend was talking to me apparently but I didn't hear anything she said. Doctors mentioned MS both times but last time nothing came up. I just can't function everyday and am starting to get worried about my job considering that it's hard to work when you can't really see. So I am desperate, does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I am a 26 year old Female. Thanks for taking the time to read this and sorry if this doesn't explain everything perfectly, if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them, I just want to be able to see again!

This means you're having pressure in your eyes or behind your eyes.Glaucoma comes to mind because I've had personal experience with it. With specific types of glaucoma there are no pressure changes so unless an ophthmalogist knows about the different types they may miss your diagnosis. Believe me not all eye docs know this stuff because a very good one missed my glaucoma, which is called Narrow-Angle Glaucoma. I had the classic signs and symptoms but 6 doctors missed the diagnosis and misdiagnosed it: 1 ophthmalogist, 1 Neurologist, 2 Primary doctors, 1 ER doctor, and 1 ENT doctor. My symptoms were similar to yours without the lines; migraine-like headaches, eye pressure as you described, eye pain, nausea. And later as the episodes got more serious because the pressure in my was rising, I got vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains, foggy vision. That's when I finally got diagnosed and that was by a small, rural ER hospital where the ER doctor had seen my same symptoms one time before. Because it is a rarer type of Glaucoma, not many doctors even know about it. I now see a very knowledgable and kind eye doctor who knows about glaucoma.http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003029.htmMedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia: Vision ProblemsThis website covers a lot of information. You might request an MRI of your brain and eyes if you haven't had one.
