Ok so about 5 and a half months ago I had my first panic attack from smoking weed. I was upstairs smoking with a friend and everything was normal like always. Then about 30-45 minutes after smoking I tried to go lay down because I was a bit tired, but all of a sudden my heart started beating hard and fast so I got back up and decided to get on the computer. Then when I got on the computer it felt like my throat was closing up so I tired drinking water because I thought maybe it was dry, but it didn't help. So I had my mother rush me to the ER. That was the start of all the problems I have now. I went to the hospital and they thought I did optimum or whatever. I have no clue what that was and they didn't really inform me on what was going on. About a week later I tried weed again to see if that was the cause, and to my surprised it happened again but worst! This time I got all the symptoms as before plus more. I was able to deal with it this time because I know I wasn't going to die, but the extra symptom this time were whole body aches. Every since that time and up until now Iv'e had numerous symptoms from heart feel like its stopping, falling asleep then jolting awake seconds later, numb tingling feeling on my left chest and arm, Re-flux type(don't quite know how to explain it), ear ringing, cold-wet type feeling in my ear, different nerve sensation in my head(kind of hard to explain), whole body feeling really light randomly, shallow breathing, random numbness, muscles twitching, head pressure, both side of head near the temple areas feeling like the muscle or veins popping(don't really know how to explain it), feeling like I'm not breathing properly, sneezing sensation that would last for hours but don't have to sneeze, sensation in my throat/chest area(can't really explain it) to random body pains. Every since that second time I just haven't been right. I've been to the doctor more times this year than in my whole life. They just can't find anything wrong. It feels like I will die soon(as in later this year or so...). By the way I'm 19. Please somebody shed some light on my situation any kind of feed back will be appreciated:):(

  • Sweetheart, you are obviously allergic to something in marijuana. Or, it could be something as severe as a stroke. You definately need to go see a doctor and ask for a full battery of testing. You must be very scared. If you have been seeing the same doctor go to another doctor. You know your body better than anyone does so if you feel something is wrong DEFINATELY get it checked out.:confused:Ok so about 5 and a half months ago I had my first panic attack from smoking weed. • Also I've had a hernia surgery within all of this, which also feel like it could have some complications now, but I don't know. Another thing is that it feel like my inside are deteriorating and I dont think just weed can make anybody feel like this. It doesn't seem like I'm getting better over time either. I haven't smoke weed since and I've had some basic tests but not anything in depths. My blood pressure is normal. As of lately I feel as if I'm not going to wake up if I go sleep and that my lung muscles are weak(I don't know). I have no idea what it could be. Any suggestions on a specific testing I should bring up with my doctor?

  • One messes with drugs and one never knows what will happen as they affect the brain and the nervous system (both things which control the body). My ex once after smoking marijuana (he'd been a long time smoker of it and had always been fine with it up to this point) but one day after smoking it, he suddenly became like a 12-14 year old child again. He lost ALL his memories of the time after that and no longer knew who I was (I was one of his exs but he could only remember before that time), didnt know his current girlfriend who was physically with him, didnt know he had children etc. He wasnt even aware of what state of Australia he was living in anymore. This incident was quite scary for us all as it lasted quite a while (long after the marijuana he'd smoked wore off) with him wanting to go home to his mother as he thought he was a child. (He's mother had actually long since disowned him). (He did come good in the end but then several years later got split/multiple personality and ended up in hospital). Taking any form of drugs (even prescription drugs can at times cause some strange side affects in some) is always a gamble............. There is another at this website who has severe MANY different issues after taking marijunaua which has never gone away, it his case i think its permanently damaged his sympathetic nervous system and unfortunately doctors dont seem to be good at helping SNS issues and this isnt a field in which a lot is known about. I dont think he no longer takes it but this other cant get better. best luck to you.
