Is this laryngopharyngeal reflux?

Here are my symptoms;

-whenever I squeeze my chest, this gas gets stuck in my throat and I'm forced to squeeze my throat (like what you do when you feel like you have a burp but it's not coming out and you try forcing it) to get rid of it and I can do that however many times I want whenever

-my abdomen makes a lot of noises and weird squishy feelings when I lay down for the first time for a bit and I usually have to elevate my back to get rid of them and when I lay down and swallow saliva or w/e, my stomach also makes a noise as the saliva enters it

-I can feel my pulse in my abdomen when I lay down sometimes

-I had difficulty swallowing from the throat a few months ago but it's gotten a lot better, but it's still there

-my uvula has been touching my tongue for months

-sometimes I have this gas buildup in my chest and I have to squeeze my diaphragm to release it

-eating a lot of spicy food gives me a lot of nausea and my anus also "burns" as I defecate it

I talked to an ENT a few months ago about the difficulty swallowing before all these other symptoms came and did a barium swallow and a scope through the nose and saw nothing.

  • Not being able to swallow is called dysphagia, and yes, this can be a sign of reflux but other things can cause it too. Try here: http://www.nidcd.nih.gov/health/voice/dysph.asp
