I am sexually active. I have
a slight burning/itching sensation on the tip of my penis(more of a discomfort than a problem). about 10 -30min after urination I would get these syptoms that would last for hours.
a headache especially at night
No sores, blisters, discharge, or anything else
I feel feverish but no elivation of temperature
I have inflamed tonsils.
blood pressure high (I may be hypertensive)
I was tested negative VDRL and nothing wrong on my full blood count. The doctor gave me a 2.4 penicillin injection (as a precaution) and a steroid cream for the tip of my penis.
When I got home 2 weeks later,(symptoms persisted) I was tested again VDRL negative, urine no protien, FBC normal. The doctor gave me a second penicillin injection ( He called it benzonate, so I did not know I was getting the same thing.). He said the penicillin would clear up the tonsilitis infection which he though was causing the headache
The symptoms have reduced but my permanent partner with whom I had (unprotected) sex with about 3 weeks ago is also starting to have an itch. What can this be?
