I have several worrying symptoms that might indicate that I have stomach cancer. I went to the doctors 2 days ago and he did not mention cancer but I found out after that he's testing me for it and I didn't know if this was normal? My symptoms are as follows:

Unintentional weight loss (just over 2 stone in 3 months)
Upper abdominal pain (kind of like heart burn)
Very loud stomach rumbling, before/during/after eating
Interchanging bouts of diarrhoea and constipation

I am 22 and very healthy, I am vegetarian and don't eat excess fatty foods, and get a reasonable amount of exercise.

Does anyone know what this might be? I'm starting to freak myself out a little.
Thank you.

  • Without proper diagnosis, it is impossible to confirm stomach cancer. From your symptom I am thinking, it may be gastric.
