if i have been vaccinated with hepa b vaccine, will i still get infected?

  • You need to get a titer done to see if you have developed antibodies from your vaccine. Some people do not develope antibodies like they should, and could still get the disease. This goes for any vaccination.

  • if the person developed antibodies as shown in a titer exam, it means that he wont be infected if he have a sexual intercourse with a infected person? sorry for asking too much, just doing some favor for a friend...thanks a lot, avoiding this virus is the best prevention of course.

Condoms are preferred use for all people who are infected, even if their partner has taken the Immunization. However, if a condom is not used, a person who is vaccinated should be safe from infection if their titers are indeed correct. The above link has all the tests for titers and what the results should be and what it means.
