recently diagnoses with lemierre's disease, attended theatre yesterday for operation to bore into the bone marrow of both legs for direct access for antibiotic therapy, during theatre it was discovered that the bone marrow was "wrecked" they have given 48hours for the antibiotic therapy to work or amputation of both legs is needed. has anyone heard of this condition before and is there any other way to treat it? the lemierre's has only been diagnosed in the last couple of days. antibiotic treatment has been given for the previous 6 weeks for the lung absess thta is associated with this disease.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
