My testacles have been like this for a while, but I've been wondering, and haven't been able to find an answer. I've looked into testicular pain and size symptoms and even genetic disorders! The left one is small and hard and has an irregular shape, like it is lying sideways, and always a little tender to touch and sometimes a little painful no matter what where my chords connect. The right one is regularly shaped, but sometimes also small and hard, sometimes regular, and sometimes swollen and painful around the chord area. But i would definately consider my sex drive to be normal if not, blazing. I have no problems urinating, with coitus, or orgasm but these problems have been worrying me. And i'm not going to a doctor unless i absolutely have to. I've checked for any kind of tumor and can't seem to find any. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??

  • Well I usually carry my cell phone in my pocket, but I highly doubt that that's the problem, seeing as I have had this condition three years before I ever had a cell phone. I have had this condition for about six years

From what you describe it sounds very much like epididymitis which is an inflammation of the epididymis, the structure on the back of each testicle where sperm is stored. Epididymitis usually (but not always) involves both testicles.Epididymitis is very often secondary to a STI...chlamydia or gonorrhea being the main culprits...and occasionally secondary to a urinary tract infection (UTI). If you do indeed have epidymitis...and you've had intermittent bouts of it sporadically for six years without a REALLY acute episode...you are a VERY lucky guy. Acute epididymitis is EXTREMELY painful with VERY SIGNIFICANT testicular swelling. It's definitely something that NO guy ever wants to experience! The reason you need to see your Doc is two-fold. First, you need a definite diagnosis of this condition. And, you also need a urine screening for chlamydia & gonorrhea, and a urine culture to rule out a UTI. Any of these conditions, and also epididymitis, are easily treated and resolved with oral antibiotics. I'd make a timely appointment.Best,John<

  • Well, the thing is, i've been urine tested for other infections before and nothing ever turned up before I would imagine that they would have found something. And i'm not really worried about the swelling. It's never enough to be a big deal, and you would figure that it would get worse, but actually it has gotten better. I'm more worried about my left testacle. It's almost like it's been pulled or something and it's sideways. I'm also worried about why it's so small and hard.
