My son is 7 and he has been sniffing for some weeks now. He does not have any discharge of any kind from his nose. He sniffs every minute or less. He does not have any symptom of flu or cold. What can i do?

  • Yes. Gave him some antibiotics and it subsided. It has however started again.

  • I have a friend who did this. The cause for him was that he had and extremely long uvula (hanging thing at the back of the throat) The Ear/Nose/Throat doctor he went to see said that it was a reflex to remove the uvula from the back of his toungue. It can be corrected by having a surgery to reduce the uvula. Just an idea......Hope it's of some help.
