Hello,

I am a 20 year old student and have been experiencing sever chest pain. I've been to the health center at school and they have told me it's stress and merely subscribed anti-inflammatories. However, I feel it's something more.

The pain is at the center of my sternum, it feels like it may be a muscle. Ive had the pain for a little over 8 months. When I first began feeling it, the pain was sharp and felt like it took my breath away. I've coped with the pain and just breathe deeply when it comes.

SOmetimes I feel it when I lift my arms or push out my chest but not always.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank you!

  • In the meanwhile do something to take your mind off the pain. But you may want to go and see your local doctor not a trainee from university, it may cost but they really do know what they're talking about.
