I started getting sick around Christmas, and a few weeks later was taken to the hospital with a 103 temp. I had a bladder infection, kidney infection and ended up having sepsis. Mind you, I'm 21. I was in the hospital for 5 days on doses of leviquin and other drugs. My white blood cell count was extremely low and was on two big bags of potassium water...

Now (three weeks later) I had a check up. My kidneys are still swollen, and I am having sharp pains in my ovary area. They took blood, stool and urine samples and the stool and urine had traces of blood in them. I hardly can eat and have thrown up every few nights. No fever, just lots of pain.

PS - There is no way that I'm pregnant, I'm a virgin so that can't be it... If you know anything of what this might be, please tell me... I've lost 10 lbs, and I'm now 106 lbs... I am a healthy normal girl, but now this...

  • According the wrongdiagnosis.com symptom checker the symptoms indicate pyelonephritis http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/p/pyelonephritis/symptoms.htm orcystitis http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/c/cystitis/intro.htm. But they both seem to be cause by bacteria (ex. e-coli) in the kidneys and bladder.
