  • Serisouly.. Go to the doctor/er. Impacted feces is very bad and once you have been backed up for long enough, it can actually make you vomit your feces back up. I know it sounds gross, but it does happen and can kill you. HTH!,Tara OB-GYN Nurse

There is no physical way to vomit feces, unless, you ingested them through the mouth. Why do people have the need to pretend that they are a professional health care provider? How could post such a ludicrous statement, and then say you are a ob-gyn nurse. Where'd did ya get your degree, Call1-800-fakenurse_degrees.com? Or just made up a diploma while participating in art therapy while confined to the loony-bin?

She was seen and found to be inpacted and what she was vomiting was feces. So to say this does not happen is not true. They said if you are inpacted and do not know it then the feces is going to find the only way out it can and that is through vomit. This is very serious and she is iextreamly ill. I never heard of this but it is more common according to the doctor then you think. If this is not caught in time this can and will result in death.

  • very simple! #1 get someone to assist you in placing a enama in your behind. loob tip with vasaline first. lay on your left side with a towel under you. warm the store bought enama and slowly and gently insert into rectum gently aiming at belly button. slowly push enama bottle to release fluid. take deep breaths in and out while this is occuring. when you have recieved as much fluid as you can tolerate, hold for as long as possilble for best effect (5 mns) then be near a toilet or commode and hopefully ........success! It's always important to drink plently of water each day as it helps with GI motility... also fruits and veggies. Next step call the doctor if no results.good luck!!!

  • I lived 20 years with impacted feces. Non of the doctors I saw treated me as anything but a piece of meat. Gave me an enema and pushed me out the door. I ended up see'ing Dr. Gorsky of Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. whom listened and then set up a treatment plan. He gave me my life back and I thank him. To go even ONE day how I was would be a ***l I would wish upon NO PERSON. Get treatment and if the doctor you see shows incompetence twords the condition or you think the treatment you have received is not effective, see a new doctor.

  • This same thing happened to me after my c-section!! I was in so much pain and I was using stool softeners too and they didn't help. this was my solution- might seem gross but it helped buy some rubber gloves and when you go to the bathroom just maybe feel down there and see if you can feel anything trying to come out, if so you're just gonna have to help it on it's way and just pull it out! gross I know but that's why you wear gloves, it's the only thing that gave me relief :( good thing my husband was in the Army and wasn't there to see me struggle through this!! good luck

I didn't even realize how impacted I was until it was all over with. I didn't want a nurse or doctor to remove it digitally so I too used the glove technique and used a mirror so I could see what I was doing. It might sound gross, but it's better than someone else doing it for you! Just be careful b/c if you strain while removing the impaction (it will come out in peices, so have patience, remember, your intestines are very long) you might need someone nearby. It is possible to pass out from the pain, have patience. Take stool softeners in the meantime to soften whatever. is above the impaction. Once the impacted stool is out, the remaining stool above that will slide right out without straining on your part.
