Hi im a 19 year old male with chronic health problems this all started after i used a number of injectable anabolic steroids for bodybuilding purposes including testosterone, trenbolone, + other drugs including arimidex, DNP (Dinitrophenol) and clenbuterol.

I have had 20 blood tests in the past 6 months which show basically nothing wrong with me. I have had done... Chest CT Scan, chest x-rays, lung function tests, Pituitary MRI, Ecocardiogram, EKG's, DEXA bone scan, 24 hour holter monitor, Abdominal Ultrasound. All negative. Besides my holter monitor did show bradycardia and tachycardia and sinus arrithmia.

Alternative medical doctor said i have systemic candida (digestion and immunity in the large and small intestine are down) but i think i can only have this if im immunocompromised correct?

Hair mineral analysis showed low chromium, low cobalt (Vitamin B12 if im not mistaken?), low molybdenum, low manganese.

I have been taking chromium 250-500mcg per day, manganese 20-40mg per day, 1000mcg sublingual B12 capsules 1 per day, zinc + molybdenum.

B12 deficency would explain the sense of touch loss since it can cause nerve damage.

Ecocardiogram showed insignifcant mitral valve prolapse and mitral valve regurgitation.

Endoscopy, colonoscopy, gastroscopy done, no parasites. Mild chronic gastritis found and mild oesophagitis.

I have high mercury on hair analysis 2.4 range is (0.0 - 0.6), still waiting for blood mercury levels to arrive and about to do urinary 24 hour mercury test.

Quite comprehenisve autoimmune testing all negative.

Symptoms (symptoms come and go sometimes i feel completely normal then relapses):

Fatigue, chronic at times
Feeling of weakness
Muscle weakness, if trying to lift something arms get sore quickly
Reduction in the sense of touch
Loss/large reduction of taste and smell
high and low blood pressure
Sometimes hands and feet get cold and sometimes leg or arm would go numb like a loss of circulation
Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
Chest pains
Immune system feels down - feeling sick often, middle ear infections, mouth ulcers, breathing difficulty
2 months ago had severe bone and joint pains and fever now just clicking and cracking of some joints
Going in different environments sometimes makes symptoms worse such as driving in a car somewhere far away or going to a new place.
Muscles sometimes feel and look bigger "swell up" then next day deflate and this alternates.
Edema/swelling of the body sometimes.
Pulse sensation noticed in the left side of neck and where the stomach is.
Appetite down
Weight loss.... im 190cm
109kgs August 08
95kgs February 09

Note: I have been at a clinic and got 30grams of intravenous vitamin C once each week for the past three weeks, i also regularly take two chinese herbal tonics to boost the immune system, zinc, Echinacea, Olive Leaf extract, garlic oil, probiotics and bovine colostrum. Im not sure what effect these will all have on my test results probably by making them better than they really are.

I have the blood tests in a attachment...

Any info would be great, Thank You :).

  • With as many bizarre symptoms as you have,it's likely that you have more than one thing going on.Your MVP might not be that insignificant with your fatigue and shortness of breath.Your other symptoms make no sense to me.How is your stress level?

I constantly have these flu-like symptoms, they get worse if i dont take these supplements to boost my immunity. I don't know about the MVP and MVR the doctor said it very very insignifcant when he saw it and that he would need to see me in 3 years time. I also did a cardiostress test which was all normal. I suspect: * hidden viral infection in the injectable steroids* mercury poisoning* malabsorbtion* Genetic mutation caused by the steroid and other drug use + stress* Or a vascular disease From 2007 till July 2008 i was bodybuilding 3 times a week heavy training for 90mintues plus from 2007 to 2008 i was studying full time. Also i was always taking lots of supplements creatine, glutamine etc... if that makes any difference. Also i have low testosterone, low IGF-1, low DHEA's and low thyroid but ive had these since 2006 when i tested them with no symptoms. I also have elevated cortisol and ACTH but testing for addisons disease was negative. And in 2005 i lost a lot of weight went from 125kg (very overweight) to 70kgs underweight and had to be hospitalised twice each time for 6 weeks because of anorexia. Also i then developed night eating syndrome (where u get up from sleep to eat 2-3 times a night) and have had it for the past 3 years this constant waking up 2-4 times per night. Im going for testing at genovadiagnostics.com and also DNA (Genome testing) Urinary amino acids, organic acids, metabolic analysis, oxidative stress analysis, liver detoxification profile, and comprehensive digestive stool analysis to check for absorbtion, yeasts, parasites etc. I went to the emergency room 17 times in 3 months and doctors didnt know why i had shortness of breath! i have basically been my own doctor so far and that has helped me more than anything. Symptoms are terrible everyday is a struggle and sometimes i feel like i just want to die but i try to stay 100 percent positive, i dont have many friends anymore because of constantly feeling sick all i have is my family mostly. Anything else you can think of guys would be great even just random thoughs....
