I have been having a problem for about a year now. I am in my mid teens. At first i thought of it was nothing, but after my parents told me it possibly was reflux i decided to do some research on the internet out of curiousity. My most common symptom was what others would call a "wet burp," in other words, food would come back up my throat. It started happening constantly but ive never had any heart burn or trouble swallowing. Another symptom i had is bad breath, even after i brushed my teeth and my tounge as well, my friend would say i had bad breath. At least i apprieciated the honesty. So far it hasnt effected seriously but i have experienced only twice a burn in my chest that im not positive if it was a heart burn, but i was unable to move because of the pain for about a minute, i wasnt sure if it was related or just horrible gas. After i looked it up online i thought i had something like Esophageal diverticulum but i didnt hawk up food by laying down or sitting, i did it as soon as i swallowed it. any ideas? I would also like to know if its anything i should worry about. thanks!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
