I was leaving Jamaica 3/16/09 and went to restroom before boarding my flight back to states. While washing I notice my middle finger was lightly red and extremely sensitive to the water. It continued to get redder over the next few hours. My friend says it looked like a chemical burn. I felt no burn or bite at any time. It stayed red and started to show tiny blisters that never broke. The skin spoken of is on the side of my middle finger and measures an inch long and 1/2in wide. It has gone through several stages....turning purple/blue, white, the little blisters hardened and the skin is starting to slough off, but area remains hard and scaly to touch. The redness extends up towards my finger tip in a thin red line.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
