8 years ago after my 1st hip op,I started having what i call "cold sweats"
The top of my head gets very very hot(i liken this to a pressure cooker waiting to blow)then i get cold water running down my face and neck as if i have just got out of the shower,my face is pale and gray. For a while it stopped and started, but now it is happening 2/3 times daily,i am getting very distressed. It`s not good walking around the town with a towel around my neck.I have been to so many consultants It`s not thyroids, heart, kidneys ,high blood pressure or one of many other tests i have had, i am now 70 years old i had a partial hysterectomy in 1983 but my ovaries were kept.I have arthritus, high blood pressure tablet controlled, diabetes controlled, hiatus hernia controlled, i only had the arthritus in 1983 and am on none of the tablets i was on then.I feel so dirty now it is spoiling my life, It seems very strange that NO-ONE, no Dr, no Consultant has had another patient with these symptoms.PLEASE HELP !!!!

  • I have similiar problems. I also have iron deficiency anemia and I recently found out there is a carbon monoxide leak in my house. I'm not sure if either of these is the cause to my cold sweat problems, but I just thought I'd let you know what I know since I have the same symptom. It's quite awful, I know. I feel for you! I sincerely hope you can find an answer to this problem.
