for the past few years ive been throwing up every morning. at first i thought it was caused by acid reflux; i would go to sleep, acid would build up in my esophagus, and when i woke up the acid would go down into my stomach and upset it. i took nexium for a while but it hasnt helped.
im 18 years old and im a male.
lately, my stomach has a generally "bad" feeling all the time, but i only throw up in the morning. when i throw up its mostly dry heaves with liquidy saliva. it feels like im trying to cough from my upper stomach (cardia). it actually feels like i am uncontrollably forcing open my cardia.
i feel hungry almost all the time but cant eat very much.
after some researched i think i *may* have narrowed this thing down to the following causes:
helicobacter pylori infection
from my research ive gathered that most if not all of these causes can be associated with each other but most of them involve somewhat different treatment, especially dyspepsia and achlorhydria, which seem to me like they are opposites (treating one could make the other worse).
im trying to figure out which of the listed causes i should pursue or if anyone has any idea of another possible, more likely cause.
