hello, and thanks for reading this. Im a 15 year old male and i do karate 4 days a week for 2 hours each day. whenever i begin to get active by jumping around i lose my breath almost instantly. Thing is, ive been doing karate for 8 years, and this has only come up in the last 6 months. After i lose my breathing i try to keep going but it feels as if someone is constricting my airway and it becomes hard to inhale. After this, i cant regain my breathing for like 10 minutes. my doctor says that this is all in my head, and that im just afraid to get hurt, but i am not! this is so frustrating because i was at the top of my class, and now i cant do anything at all, and because everyone thinks im lying to get out of doing karate. Now its hard for me to breathe most of the time, but nobody believes me. Help me please!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
