I'm a 37 yr old athletic male and feel like I have aged 30 yrs overnight! About 5 months ago i began to experience pain in my right knee. Never injured it and never had previous knee problems though. The pain has not subsided and I have just recently began to experience many more strange symptoms. Constant headache and chills, sore neck(especially at the base of skull), stiffness of knees(especially in the morning), and constant muscle soreness (mostly in calves), difficulty sleeping at night due to chills and cold sweats. I am not running a fever however. I've been taking Aleve and Advil to get some minor relief, but I am not getting any better. Can anyone relate to what I am experiencing and give advice? I am starting to suspect Lyme.

  • I know Lyme and you sure fit. Take a look over at canlyme.com and click on symptoms. You may recognize other symptoms. There is also a discussion forum - I strongly suggest you post your story. The people there are great and very supportive. They will give you advice to help you decide. Remember that Lyme is the fastest growing infectious disease in the US. It now outpaces AIDS. Very scary!
