  • You can ask for an ANA (antinuclear antibody) test at the doctor, even your family doctor. From there, there are other autoimmune bloodwork they can run. You should also get a full Throid work up done....Maybe Lyme Disease. Don't give up! Good luck to you! • Get tested for lupus thou i've heard from some that lupus isnt always picked up. You also could have something like chronic fatigue immunity dysfunction (CFIDS) http://wwcoco.com/cfids/bernesx.html , many other conditions can coexist with CFIDS (as part of symptoms of it) including Sjogren's syndrome (causing dryness) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Hard to say if it may be CFIDS in your case or another illness.

  • Some other considerations would be to ask your physician about testing for diabetes (escpecially if there is a famiy history) cushing's syndrome, and the possibility of intestinal malabsorption caused by something like celiac deisase.
