I hope someone can help me, i have had a problem with my arm for the last 4 - 5 weeks.
I have tenderness, chronic pain, swelling, on and around the elbow area.
I have been to see two doctors and they are unable to diagnose me.
Originally it started on my forearm near my elbow and it is slowly working its way down my arm.
My fingers are numb i have pins and needles 24/7, am in considerable pain, i cannot use my arm or hand.
after scans, my doctor said it looked like Swiss cheese, and the other doctor said it looked like fish swimming in my arm!
My hand has reduced blood flow, and i cannot handle even the slightest touch to the arm or fingers. There doesn't seem to be a break or fracture according to scans. It seems like a muscle problem but feels a lot worse than a break.
Approximately 9 years ago i had key hole surgery to fix a work injury, which was in my shoulder and muscular, then about 2 years later they operated on my neck, and found two nerves were pinched between my 5th and 6th and 6th and 7th neck lumbar.
The doctor feels sure this injury is unrelated to the past injuries, but as it is the same arm, i feel that maybe it is related.
If someone out there has a clue or even an idea please please reply and give me some hope this pain is excruciating!
