ok i was diagnosed of depression when i was age 13 and was prescribed zoloft and paxil.. then i began getting severe headaches, then after bloodwork and catscans, i was prescribed lortabs and vicodens. from my researching mixing the two medications arent meant to be lol. but now im 19 and have been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder (which i really do think i have). now i have been taking zoloft and xanax for the past few months. when i first started taking them, i was feeling great and "normal" i guess. but now im starting to feel somewhat depressed again. i cannot sleep for anything! im up til 4 to 7 in the morning almost every night and thats after waking up, excercising, lifting weights, and working. you think i'd be tired right? well i do get tired i just cannot fall asleep. when i lay down to sleep my mind starts racing and thinking of anything and everything. the medications have helped me become more active and sociable again, but now i think they are keeping me up. i mean side effects of zoloft are insomnia, but could i have been misdiagnosed with depression when i may have bipolar disorder? cause i only went to the docs when i was feeling down. and what kind of affect would an SSRI have a person with bipolar disorder. i read that it could worsen it.
any help, responses, or inputs would be appreciated.
