Im so stuck...............
For at least a year- I have complained of sporadic pelvic pain, frequent UTI'S and painful intercourse (on my left side). My periods always had come at the same time, and lasted 3-4 days. I have seen my doctors. Have been told Im clear of stds. Was referred to a urologist for frequent UTIS and have also had both internal and external ultrasounds- which came back that I had very very small cysts that should not effect me at all. I was told that the painful intercourse could be from the position-so try new ones. That has not helped.

For the past two months - Ive been bleeding. Sometimes heavier, sometimes very light. I notice a foul vaginal odor (I still smell after showering), increased discharge (sometimes i can feel it leaking out of me),bleeding after intercourse, extreme fatigue,weight-loss,loss of appetite, painful intercourse, left-sided pelvic pain to the point where ive had trouble walking...(but I dont have the pelvic pain all the time) .occasional backaches, joint/ body aches.

Any thoughts?

  • It might be endometriosis, but with a foul discharge it sounds like an infection, such as a bacteria that doesn't cause std's.

  • You need to ask your doctors to do a uterine biopsy. It might sound scary, but it can rule out alot of different things. Also, have your thyroid checked. Thyroid disease can cause alot of your symptoms.
