My daughter is 5 years old. For the past three months she has been getting headaches. then twice this month she has gotten severe headaches accompanied with a fever of 102.9 as well well as nausea and vomiting. she vomited last friday with the headache and it was just green mush then as quick as she vomited she got bette. no fever was talking and smiling again. whereas before she could not move or sit up. She could not open her eyes with the light on.. then this past saturday her feet and ankles became swollen for no reason.. her doc is saying there is nothing wrong. she just had the spring bug.. No answers are coming with these headaches.. I am lost at what should be the next step. we wanted a mri but the doc says no..

  • I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion. When she next has an episode, get her to the doctor. A child her age with those symptoms should have lab work, a CT scan, and possibly a lumbar puncture. Good luck to you and your daughter.
