My son is four years old and has been diagnosed with ADHD, but I'm afraid that isn't what is really going on! He was a sweet baby/young child, but when he turned 18 months old he snapped and became highly aggressive and very angry. He has always been intense in everything that he does/feels (joy, anger, frustration) but he is getting worse! He is also extremely smart (similar to a six or seven year old intelligence) and unbelievably strong (I outweigh him by 100lbs and cannot hold him) His social skills are normal other than being a bit shy and his concentration is relatively average for his age. I am worried that there is something besides just the ADHD going on. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help...daily life is becoming a struggle! We never know when he is going to erupt or what is going to set him off. He is so negative and angry - kind of what you would expect from a 15 year old. What do I do? I don't even know where to start...he is so young that everyone is saying it's his age, but it is getting so much worse and nothing we do is helping. I am afraid for him.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
