Problem:
Extremely quick and frequent bouts of my head feeling fuzzy ( not sure how to explain the feeling since it's so quick, maybe slightly dizzy and cloudy feeling, have never dropped anything or lost consciousness nor memory when this happens). In addition I also have one-sided tingling that usually starts at my foot and goes to that side of my lip.
I noticed it a few months ago when I would take walks at night. I was able to walk through it but it would happen multiple times throughout my walk. Currently I notice it happens more when I am standing/walking but it has been happening while I sit.

History:
I have been a nursing student for 1 1/2 years and with that comes lots of sitting. I have also gained 50 lbs during that time. I have had many different tests done at the doctors but nothing comes back abnormal. My diastolic BP does tend to run a little higher and have been monitoring it. (Range from 85-90). I have been having other health issues that I believe have been resolved due to a change in medications. Currently I am taking lexapro and daily birth control pill. Symptoms that are finally resolved are hot flashes, tachycardia, elevated BP, and heart palpitations. Additional symptoms I am battling are a feeling of restless legs both while awake and while sleeping. I know they are not officially restless leg syndrome since I am not active and that is a criteria.

Please help if you can, I am worried this is something serious and it's increasing in frequency.

  • I have those quick fuzzy feelings myself. I have figured out it's coming from my neck. If I get my neck 'cracked' I'm good for a bit. Mine is so bad I have to see my chiropractor 1-2 times a week. Have you tried to use a chiropractor? If not, give it a try, have nothing to lose.
